Hygroscopic crystal materials deteriorate when they're not often retained in sufficiently dry air (or simply a dry purge gasoline). This applies e.g. to KDP and BBO, and in a lesser extent to LBO. It could be practical to help keep this type of crystal at a fairly elevated temperature, that makes it simpler to keep it dry.If the crystal surfaces a
